Is RegenaLight Safe to Use?

We understand that trying a new wellness device comes with questions — and you deserve clear, honest answers. Here's what you should know about the safety of your RegenaLight mask.

What Is LED Light Therapy?

LED (light-emitting diode) light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to interact with skin cells and support natural cellular processes. It is a non-invasive, non-thermal technology — meaning it does not generate heat that could damage tissue, and it does not use UV light. LED therapy has been used in clinical and professional settings for decades.

Is the Light Harmful?

RegenaLight uses low-level LED light within wavelength ranges that have been extensively studied for topical skin use. The light does not penetrate deeply enough to harm internal tissue, does not contain UV radiation, and does not burn or damage the skin when used as directed.

Who Should Use Caution?

While LED light therapy is well-tolerated by most people, we recommend consulting your doctor before use if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have a history of photosensitivity or light-triggered conditions (such as lupus or certain medication-related sensitivities)
  • Are taking photosensitizing medications (some antibiotics, retinoids, or acne medications can increase light sensitivity)
  • Have active skin conditions, open wounds, or recent cosmetic procedures in the treatment area
  • Have epilepsy or a seizure disorder sensitive to flashing light

Eye Safety

Your RegenaLight mask is designed with built-in eye protection — no separate goggles are needed. The LED panels are positioned so light does not emit directly toward your eyes. See our dedicated article for full details: Do I Need Eye Protection When Using RegenaLight?
