Can I Use Multiple Colors in One Session?
Yes — you can switch colors mid-session or use multiple wavelengths however works for you. Here is how to think about it.
The intended use
Each 15-minute session is designed around one color. Selecting a wavelength and staying with it for the full session gives that specific wavelength the most time to work on your skin concern. If you are targeting acne, a full 15 minutes of blue light is more focused than splitting time between blue and red.
The auto-cycle option
The easiest way to use all 7 wavelengths in a single session is to select the 8th option on the mask. This automatically cycles through all 7 colors during your 15-minute session. It is a great general-purpose setting if you want broad benefits without thinking about which color to use.
To reach it, power on the mask and press the button to cycle past the 7 individual colors until the lights cycle automatically.
Switching colors manually mid-session
You can switch colors at any point by pressing the button. There is no harm in splitting a session — for example, 7-8 minutes of red light followed by 7-8 minutes of blue light. This works fine if you have multiple concerns you want to address.
For multiple skin concerns: alternate by day
If you are targeting more than one concern — for example, anti-aging with red light and acne with blue light — the most effective approach is to alternate wavelengths on different days rather than splitting a single session. This gives each wavelength a full 15-minute treatment rather than a partial one.
Example alternating schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Red light (633nm) for collagen and anti-aging
- Tuesday, Thursday: Blue light (415nm) for acne and bacteria
- Weekend: Auto-cycle mode for overall skin health
Bottom line
There is no wrong way to use the colors. One focused wavelength per session produces the most targeted results. The auto-cycle 8th setting is the easiest all-in-one option. Manual switching mid-session works fine if that is your preference.
